Airlines are a system of operation, responsible for transporting freight or passengers from one point to the next. They take great pride in knowing that they’re a comfortable alternative when an automobile or a ship fails to provide the same or similar services in such a manner.

Airlines either own or lease their aircraft, both of which require a license to operate. At times, for further benefits, airlines form partnerships with other companies, which have proven to be rather beneficial thus far. The beauty of airlines is that they either operate a single aircraft carrying mail or cargo, or a full-service one operating hundreds of aircraft.

Airlines categorize their services in a number of ways, amongst which include intercontinental, intra-continental, and domestic – all working toward catering to the needs of customers.
