Aviation agencies are by definition companies which generally operate within the aviation industry and recruit personnel on behalf of their clients to fulfil their manpower requirements. Airline jobs, such as pilots, cabin crew and aircraft mechanics are typically sought on a daily basis. You may eventually, be directly employed by the client, or by the agency itself.
Aviation agencies are normally paid a one off finder’s fee for any successful recruit who is directly employed by the client and the recruit will become a paid employee of the client. However, if the agency is a human resource supplier, the agency will be paid continuously for the personnel it supplies and the recruit will be paid by the agency. The recruit who is being paid by the agency may have the option of supplying his or her services as a consultant, a limited company, or as a PAYE employee depending on the conditions of the particular contract.
Aviation agencies operate in a very competitive market and all will have an on-line presence, advertising aviation jobs, airline jobs, aircraft jobs and much more. There are hundreds of dedicated aviation agencies worldwide, but there are thousands of general recruitment agencies, which also recruit aviation personnel.
