What is the AviAMP website/database?
The AviAMP website/database is an internet based communications portal which puts aviation companies in touch with aviation job seeking members. It provides airline companies with the members’ contact details and their online searchable profile, CV / Résumé and other useful items of personal information.


Why should I register at AviAMP when there are so many job search websites and recruitment agencies worldwide?
Imagine the scenarios. You posting your CV to the entire world's job search websites, recruitment agencies and aviation companies, or managing your profile on the AviAMP website database platform, and let the world's aviation companies view it here.

Do I have to be un-employed or seeking aviation employment to register as a member?
No. Anyone can become a member at anytime regardless of whether they are seeking aviation employment or not.

What do I need to do to register and become a member?
Follow the registration link. http://aviation.aviamp.com/Register.aspx
Enter your details on a simple form and agree to the AviAMP terms and conditions. An E-mail with an AviAMP ID and an activation link will be sent to you. Complete the process which will ask you to create your own password, and your membership confirmation will be complete. You are now a member. Use these details to Log on to your secure member area.

Who can register as a member?
Any person or individual worldwide may register as a member whether they work in the aviation industry or not. There are no pre-requisites in terms of your qualifications or employment status.

How secure is the database and website?
The database, the members and the company areas of the website are secured with high-grade (RC4128-bit) encryption. Even your login page is encrypted. You may view the certificate by clicking the padlock icon on your browser.

Can I upload a traditional CV / Résumé to my member profile for aviation companies to view?
Yes. You have the option to create a searchable online profile and upload a traditional CV / Résumé to your profile area, by using the copy and paste function of your computer or typing directly into the area provided.

How will I know which airline company has viewed my online profile or CV?
You will receive an automatic notification.

How do aviation companies contact me?
An aviation company may contact you in several ways. They may contact you using the internal AviAMP e-mail system, or they may contact you by using the contact details you provided in your personal details section.

How do I ensure my present aviation employer can’t view my profile or CV?
Each aviation job seeker has the ability to block the viewing of their profile, either to specific aviation companies or all companies. Only airline companies with an AviAMP account have the ability to view the member profiles, and of these airline companies, those that you place on your block list will not be able to view the profile.

Can I block all my data or allow only some data to be viewed?
You may select which information to hide and which information to show.

If the purpose of the site is to allow aviation companies to contact me and see my profile details, why would I want to use the blocking feature to block my name and contact information, or any information for that matter?
Some members may want to be contacted by specific aviation companies only and not others. Some members may want an aviation company to show an active interest in their profile before being contacted. There is no need for an aviation company to know your name if they are not interested in any of your other information.

If an aviation company shows an interest in my profile but can’t see my contact information, how will they contact me?
The aviation company will be able to send you an internal e-mail by referring to your AviAMP ID, asking you to show your name and contact details or ask you to provide more information using the internal e-mail system.

If I am contacted by an aviation company for short-term work, how will I get paid?
The responsibility rests with the contracting company and the member to determine a financial settlement. AviAMP does not act as an agent for either company or member.

Who can register as a company?
Any registered aviation industry related company worldwide may register with AviAMP. Follow the registration link. http://aviation.aviamp.com/RegisterCompany.aspx

Enter the required details on a simple form and agree to the AviAMP terms and conditions. There is a Pre-approval system in place for companies. Once your company has been approved an E-mail with an AviAMP ID and an activation link will be sent to you. Complete the process which will ask you to create your own password, and your company account confirmation will be complete. You are now an AviAMP participating company. Use these details to Log on to your secure account area.

Where is AviAMP located?
AviAMP is a UK based company. The company is legislated by UK law and complies with the UK Data Protection Act. AviAMP Limited data protection registration number is Z1571681

Where are the AviAMP servers located?
The AviAMP servers are located in a level 3 facility in Central London, UK.

How is the service charged?
Individuals may join and use all our members’ functions for free. Companies will be charged by using a credit pay per use system.There are no membership charges or service fees for members.
